Martin Transportation/AFI

We are pleased to spotlight Martin Transportation/AFI – a valued customer that has installed our hosted VoIP, InfoTalk Pro, a feature-rich economical alternative to a traditional phone system.

Founded in 1995 by Troy Hutchens (President), Floyd Martin (Vice President) and Joe Fisher (Secretary-Treasurer), Martin Transportation started out as a truck brokerage. Soon after the business was underway, in order to better fulfill customer demand, the company began to invest in its own fleet of trucks. Eventually, the company evolved into a full service carrier based in White City, with a service center in Springfield. It owns and leases a total of 16 trucks.  

Due to insurance restraints, Martin Transportation determined it was necessary to spin off the brokerage part of the business as a separate entity, which became American Freight, Inc. (AFI). AFI maintains full service dispatchers that not only find truckers for those who need freight hauled, but additionally locate loads for those truckers who need freight. They manage the shipment process from the time the truck is ordered until the load is finally delivered.

Today, both Martin Transportation and AFI enjoy a reputation of excellence of service throughout the Northwest. As customer centric, service oriented companies, they are capable of providing end-to-end transportation solutions just about anywhere in the lower 48.
